Rebekah specialises in teaching Yoga to adults, teens and children who have a learning disability. Sessions are designed to suit an individual or groups needs using appropriate props, such as bolsters or chairs and resources such as Yoga cards, soft toys etc. Rebekah works therapeutically in a fun light-hearted way creating an accessible, enjoyable experience for all.

Rebekah has completed specific Yoga training for working with children who have cerebral palsy and/or PMLD with the Special Yoga Foundation and is able to lead therapeutic accessible Yoga sessions for these special children. Rebekah has a natural ability to connect and communicate with individuals creating a relaxed and safe environment.

Yoga helps to encourage, stimulate and regulate breathing, balancing and calming the nervous system whilst Improving strength and flexibility. Yoga helps to alleviate stress and increase a sense of calm whilst encouraging social interaction.
Additionally, Rebekah has worked with and taught adults that have a learning disability for the past 20 years in Further Education settings and is currently leading sensory book clubs for the Frome Open Story Tellers.
Rebekah is a Senior registered teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals. This accreditation demonstrates excellent standards as set by Yoga Alliance Professionals.
